Well its all over and I realy dont know what to say,I suppose dissapointed would sum this week up.
Poor weather, poor tasks, and a poorer scoring system which ended up discarding three of the five tasks with only Friday and Saturday scoring,this left a lot of people bemused and upset,after flying consistantly through the week and being in 17th position on Friday, I finished in 18th place with 923 pts on Saturday and dropped to 27th overall,the PWCA seem to be making a deliberate attempt to push racing at all costs,and punish good consistant good flying,and its not a route I want to go down.

- I started paragliding in 1986 and soon became involved in the testing and trimming of the Wild T Paraglider, one of the first true Paragliders, soaring on Wether fell (Yorkshire Dales) for over an hour in 1987. After a short break I returned to the sport in 1996 and within in a year started competing, finishing 2nd in the 1997 BP Cup and going on to win it again in 2002. In the same year along with my ever supporting wife Claire,we became the only pilots to ever win an Open comp on a tandem (the Lakes Charity Classic). I have now flown more defined tasks in the UK than any other pilot.and have represented the UK in the Bleriot cup in 2002, 2003 and in 2005, finishing in 2nd place overall in the 2005 event, with the UK team winning with the largest margin ever in this international team competition. I finished in 2nd place in the 2007 UK champs,and I am curently ranked 75th in the world.
